The Government of Punjab has decided to launch Phase 2 for those Imams or mosques that have not yet been registered. This ensures that no deserving Imam is deprived of the honorarium. If you or an Imam you know is not yet registered, please follow the procedure outlined below.

​1. Re-registration Process

​The government has directed district administrations (Deputy Commissioner Offices) to collect data on mosques that were missed during the first phase.

​Action: Contact the Auqaf Department office in your district or the dedicated desk established at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office.

​2. Required Documents

​CNIC of the Imam.
​Madrasa certificates/degrees (if available).
​Mosque registration certificate (if available).
​Verification letter from the Mosque Committee.

​3. Mobile App and Online Portal

​The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is developing a dedicated online portal where missed Imams can upload their details directly. This is intended to ensure transparency and merit.

​4. Verification Process

​District committees have been formed to verify new applicants. These committees include:
​Assistant Commissioner (AC)
​Local Tehsildar
​Representative of the Auqaf Department
​Final Verification: Conducted by the Special Branch.

​5. Flexibility for Private and Unregistered Mosques

​The government has indicated that mosques not yet formally registered may still be included under a specific procedure, provided they are locally recognized as functional mosques.

​6. Bank Account Requirements

​If you are already registered but have not received the stipend:
​Immediately check your account status at the Bank of Punjab (BOP).
​The honorarium will only be disbursed to biometrically verified, active accounts.

​7. Grievance Redressal

​If an Imam meets the merit criteria but has been excluded from the list, they can register a complaint by calling the Chief Minister’s “1717” Helpline.
