Residency Requirements
To qualify for the solarization program, applicants must be residents of Punjab Province. It is mandatory for applicants to attach a copy of their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) with their application. The program stipulates that only one member per family can avail of a facility or solar system under this scheme, ensuring a broader distribution of resources.
Land Ownership
Eligibility extends to those who own a minimum of 1 acre of agricultural land within the revenue boundary of the district where the application is submitted. Applicants must provide Fard-e-Malakiat as evidence of ownership, which helps verify their claims and streamline the approval process.
Solar Power Capacity
The program caters to various energy needs by considering solar power capacities of 10, 15, or 20 Kilowatts (KW). This flexibility allows farmers to choose a system that best fits their agricultural operations and energy requirements.
Electric Tubewell Specifications
For farmers applying for the solarization of electric tubewells, ownership proof is crucial. Applicants must present the last paid electric bill of their tubewell connection as evidence. It’s important to note that the program excludes nonpayers or defaulters from consideration, emphasizing the importance of good fiscal practices among its beneficiaries.
Installation and Technical Requirements
The eligibility criteria also specify that any electrical tubewell intended for solarization must have had its electricity connection installed on or before October 30, 2024. Additionally, the existing electrical setup must include a 3-phase connection, ensuring that the infrastructure is adequate to support the solar system.

Here’s how to complete the registration:
- CNIC:
- Enter your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number in the field labeled “CNIC *”. This is a mandatory field marked with an asterisk, indicating that it must be filled to proceed.
- Mobile Number:
- Input your mobile number in the space provided. This is also a required field, ensuring that you can be contacted regarding your application.
- Type of Installed Tube-Well:
- Select the type of installed tubewell from the dropdown menu. This will specify what kind of tubewell setup you currently have.
- Capacity of Electric Motor (KW)/Diesel Engine (HP):
- Enter the capacity of your tubewell’s electric motor or diesel engine. You should input this in kilowatts (KW) for electric motors or horsepower (HP) for diesel engines. Ensure that the capacity is within the range of 1-50 KW/HP as specified.
- Requirement for Solar System Power:
- Choose the required power for the solar system from the dropdown menu. This selection will determine the solar system capacity that will be installed or converted.
- Affidavit & Terms Conditions:
- There is a checkbox for an affidavit and terms and conditions. By checking this box, you declare that all the information provided is correct to the best of your knowledge and that you accept the terms and conditions. It is noted that the government department or institution will not be responsible for any incorrect information provided.
- Captcha:
- Solve the captcha by entering the characters shown into the “Enter Captcha” field. This is a security measure to prevent automated submissions.
- Submit Application:
