Punjab Wheat Production Challenge 2026 Online Registration and Application Form
A competition to find Punjab’s best wheat growers and boost agricultural yield. The Government of Punjab, under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the Best Yield and Production Competition (Paidawari Muqabla) for the Wheat crop of the 2025-2026 season.
This initiative is part of a larger government effort to support farmers, modernize agriculture, and increase wheat production across the province. 🏆 Key Goals of the Competition
- Boost Wheat Production: Encourage farmers to maximize their per-acre yield to secure Pakistan’s food supply.
- Promote Best Practices: Motivate the farming community to adopt advanced techniques, quality seeds, and proper resource management.
- Recognize Top Farmers: Award significant prizes (including tractors and cash) to the farmers who achieve the highest wheat production rates at the district and provincial levels. Â
đź“‹ Who Can Participate? (Eligibility Criteria)
The competition is open to all categories of wheat growers in Punjab who meet the following requirements:
- Status: You must be a landowner, tenant farmer, or sharecropper.
- Land Area: You must have a specified minimum area of land dedicated to the competition:
- District Level Competition: You must register an area of at least 1 acre and up to 5 acres. Â
- Division/Provincial Level Competition: You must register an area of more than 5 acres.
- Registration: The land being used for the competition must be properly registered in the records of the Agriculture Department. Â
- Documentation: You must have a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). Â
✍️ How to Apply: The Application Process
The application process is managed by the local field offices of the Agriculture Department.
1. Obtain the Application Form:
- Get the official application form (as seen in the image) from the office of the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) in your local Tehsil/sub-district. The form can also typically be downloaded from the official Punjab Agriculture Department website (agripunjab.gov.pk) in the ‘Download Forms’ section. Â
2. Fill Out the Form:
- Fill in all your personal and land details accurately, including your Name, Father’s Name, CNIC Number, Mobile Number, and complete address.
- Clearly state the total area of land you are farming and the specific area you wish to enter into the competition.
3. Prepare Required Documents:
- A copy of your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). Â
- A copy of your Land Ownership Record (Fard) or the lease/tenancy agreement, which must be verified by the relevant official.
- A written declaration/undertaking (part of the form) confirming the accuracy of your details.
4. Verification and Submission:
- Take the completed form and all documents to the office of the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) in your Tehsil. Â
- The Assistant Director will verify your details against department records and sign the form.
- Submission Deadline: Ensure your completed application is submitted to the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) by the final date: January 31, 2026.
